OrniLogic deploys battery-powered passive acoustic recorders on existing infrastructure that listen continuously without disrupting site operations. Audio is securely uploaded to a Google Cloud processing pipeline, where BirdNET machine-learning models perform automated avian species detection across North American and EU species ranges.

Detections are then standardized by monitoring effort and enriched with quantitative soundscape metrics, including the Acoustic Complexity Index (ACI) and Acoustic Diversity Index (ADI). These metrics capture habitat condition and disturbance trends alongside species activity, producing a structured, reproducible, and statistically defensible dataset your team can use directly in compliance documentation, scheduling decisions, and impact assessments.
